Nichole is in her 5th year at HIES. Coach Dixon's team is coming off 3 region championships, and back-to-back state championships. The 2 years prior, her teams finished runner-up. Before coming to HIES, Coach Dixon was an assistant girls basketball coach at the Wesleyan School and was a part of seven girls basketball state championships. She was also the head girls softball coach at Wesleyan. Her softball teams won 3 consecutive region championships and finished state runner-up twice. Coach Dixon played basketball at Mercer University and earned a BA in Biology with a minor in Christianity. Additionally, she earned a masters degree from Peidmont College. She currently attends Trinity Anglican Christian Church and enjoys paddle boarding in her free time.
Mia is in her 5th year of coaching at Holy Innocents'. In her third season with the Bears, the team finished as a state champion. Prior to coaching at HI, Mia was a head coach for 13 at Central High School (Carrollton) and Mount de Sales Academy (Macon), where she won three region titles and was a state runner-up. Mia played basketball at Mercer University and received a BA in Mathematics. Mia also teaches Mathematics in the Upper School at HI.
Holli is in her 4th year coaching at Holy Innocents'. Holli has guided the JV to 2 undefeated seasons. Prior to coaching at HI, Holli played basketball at Wesleyan School in Norcross, GA. There she won 6 state championships, 4 of which were in basketball. After leaving Wesleyan, Holli went on to play collegiately at Furman University, and was named the Southern Conference Freshman of the Year.
Coach Parker Conley joins the HIES Lady Bears staff as a JV and Varsity Assistant. He is a graduate of Norcross High School and Florida State University where he played football and was a member of the 2013 National Championship team. He joins us from Providence Christian Academy after 4 years teaching in the middle and high school, as well as serving as the head football coach. He and his wife Karly are excited to be apart of the Golden Bear family. This upcoming school year he will be teaching math in the middle school.
Coach Waldrop is in his 6th season coaching the girls' varsity team. Scot has been a part of 3 state championship teams at HI, with his first coming in 2016. Scot previously coached varsity girls' at Riverwood High School and AAU basketball. Scot and his wife, JoAnn, have one daughter named Rachel.
Peter has been the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach since 2005 at Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School in Atlanta, Georgia. He works with 23 Varsity and JV teams, and is in charge of programming for the Upper School Advanced Strength and Conditioning classes as well as the Middle School. Peter is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA, a Level 1 Coach through United States Weightlifting and a Level 1 Coach with Precision Nutrition. Previously, he worked as a Performance Coach at Velocity Sports Performance.
