HIES 51 Miami Country Day 68

  The Lady Bears got off to a hot start in the Naples Holiday Shootout.  HIES jumped ahead of the nation's #3 ranked Miami Country Day (FL) team 13-12 after one quarter of play.  The hot start didn't last long with the bears being outscored 14-6 in the second, to go down 26-19 at the half.  
   The Lady Spartans continued their hot shooting in the second half, finishing the game 12 of 33 from three point land. The Bears were led by Rachel Suttle's 11 points and 10 rebounds.  Suttle was followed by Cierra Foster with 10 points and Jillian Hollingshead's 9 points.  
    The loss drops the bears to (6-5) on the year.  HIES will be back in action against American Heritage (FL) tomorrow.
